Award-winning ‘Coco’ for family flick

Stockton Springs — Stockton Springs Community Library invites everyone to come to the library Wednesday, April 18, at 6:15 p.m. for a showing of the award-winning animated film “Coco” (2017, USA).

“Coco” is the story of young Miguel, an aspiring musician who is confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music. Miguel goes on a journey to the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary musician.

“Coco” won an Oscar and a Golden Globe award for Best Animated Feature Film, in addition to dozens of other awards. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal and blanket. There will be refreshments and beverages.
