Bay View Collection Announces New Guest Services Manager

CAMDEN, ME, September 11, 2018 – Press Release – Bay View Collection, a small group of distinctive, luxury boutique hotels in Camden, Maine whose properties include the Lord Camden Inn, Grand Harbor Inn, and 16 Bay View, would like to announce and congratulate Tanner Paladino for being promoted to the role of Guest Services Manager.

Tanner has worked for the Bay View Collection since May, 2018, initially hired as a Manager Trainee Intern as part of his graduate studies coursework at Husson University in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Tanner completed his Internship program with us in August and will remain employed with us in his new role as a Guest Services Managers while he finishes up his last year of schooling at Husson on his way to earning a Master’s Degree.

It was an obvious and ideal fit for Tanner to transition to the role of Guest Services Manager”, says Matthew Levin, Director of Hotels for the Bay View Collection.

Tanner will work alongside our Guest Services Management team and provide leadership, training and support to all Guest Services Associates, which includes front desk/concierge, bellman/valet, night audit, housekeeping, F&B staff, maintenance & security, and assists management in modeling and upholding the Collection’s standards of excellence. The Guest Services Manager serves as the face of the hotel, providing guests with a positive and memorable first and last impression whenever possible. In addition, Guest Services Managers will play a key role in the onboarding process for new staff such as training, role modeling and setting an excellent example of outstanding customer service at all times.

When asked about his new role, Tanner says, “I am very excited to have been promoted to Guest Services Manager for a fantastic collection of hotels in Camden, Maine. It’s really great working in Camden because there’s always something for the guests to do near or in the Camden area. I am happy to be able to work with a competent management team that truly is passionate about creating an incredible experience for the guests within the three beautiful boutique hotels. My experience at Husson University will allow me to help contribute towards the ongoing success of these amazing hotels. I feel honored to have accepted the promotion because my hard work has been paying off.”
