BBWC honors its 2019 volunteers

Belfast — At a special public recognition event, Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition will recognize and express appreciation for its volunteers Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Abbott Room at Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. Sign-in and refreshments begin at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a brief annual meeting chaired by President Ernie Cooper. A slide presentation will depict the activities that volunteers have participated in during 2019. Volunteer leaders will be available to answer questions about their projects and discuss volunteer opportunities.

Light refreshment will be served. The public is invited to attend and meet other volunteers.

Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition works to support conservation and stewardship of natural, scenic, and public access resources of the Belfast Bay watershed through research, community-building, and education.
