Belfast — The Belfast Fourth Friday Art Walk this month will take place on July 28. The art walk features open galleries and studios on Main Street and High Street and the surrounding downtown area from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

On the art walk this summer, there are 15 sites offering a wide variety of art and a chance to visit with the artists and enjoy an evening in the heart of Belfast’s creative community.

Belfast Creative Coalition is partnered with Maine Farmland Trust to present the Farm to Gallery food tastings to celebrate the synergy of local foods and art so typical of Waldo County. Maine Farmland Trust coordinates tastings during the summer art walks. They feature a variety of delicious locally made foods, which can be sampled at many of the art walk sites.

Walkers are invited to stop at the corner of High and Main streets during the art walk to pick up a map and say hello to the BCC crew. The Belfast Fourth Friday Art Walk series is made possible in part through the generous support of members Coyote Moon, Front Street Shipyard and Bangor Savings Bank.
