Law enforcement officials with Belfast Police Department reported the following recent activity:

Feb. 25

Derrick D. Smith, 26, of Bronx, N.Y., operating without a license.

Philip N. Barter, 78, of Franklin, alleged speed 55 mph in a 35 mph zone, Searsport Avenue.

Bonnie J. Blythe, 65, of Portland, alleged speed 57 mph in a 35 mph zone, Searsport Avenue.

Feb. 24

Troy E. Bryant, 42, of Belfast, operating after suspension.

Terri D. Fuller, 35, of Brooks, arrested for operating under the influence, operating after suspension (prior convictions).

Raymond Stover, 32, of Belfast, arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

Police were called to Stover's home to investigate a complaint of loud music. There, they reportedly found Stover agitated and he appeared to be intoxicated. From within the house, police say Stover repeatedly threatened an officer with a sledge hammer or axe. Police broke into the house out of concern for another person, who was inside with Stover. Stover reportedly fought with officers rather than submit to arrest.

Feb. 12

Sarah A. Leclerc, 26, of Brooks, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
