Feb 11, 2021

Belfast — The Belfast Police Department reported one speeding violation and the following recent activity:

Feb. 7

Johanna M. Lane, 39, of Winslow, summoned for disorderly conduct. According to Chief Gerald Lincoln, the incident happened at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, at a protest on the corner of Main and High streets.

Lincoln said Danna Ware, 59, of Troy, stopped her vehicle on the corner and engaged the protest group. The argument started verbally and then turned physical, Lincoln said. Ware was summoned for disorderly conduct, assault and reckless conduct as a result of the melee.

Feb. 4

Theodore J. Haynes, 37, of Brooklyn, N.Y., summoned for possession of schedule Z drug.

Michael L. Gray, 39, of Swanville, arrested and summoned for operating under the influence with two priors and operating without a license in violation of restriction.

Feb. 3

Nicholas T. Ripley, 22, of Belfast, summoned for operating after suspension.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
