Belfast Solar Array (former landfill), Pitcher Road, Belfast. Are you interested in learning more about how clean energy works? Join Maine Conservation Voters and ReVision Energy for a guided tour of the city's pioneering landfill solar project.

Following the tour, gather for a meet-and-greet at Three Tides and Marshall Wharf Brewing Co., 40 Marshall Wharf.

Belfast’s Pitcher Road solar array is the first municipal solar project in Maine to be built on a former landfill site. The 396-panel array was installed by ReVision Energy in 2015 and has inspired similar projects in other Maine municipalities. Come get a closer look at the panels and bring questions.

RSVP and direct questions to todd@maineconservation.org or 491-2443.
