Belfast Summer Nights sets season

Belfast — The annual Thursday evening outdoor concert series Belfast Summer Nights returns Thursday, June 28, with the Pinwheel Brothers and The Once Over bands performing on Beaver Street from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Pinwheel Brothers is a fun bluegrass and folk trio. The Once Over is a rock ‘n’ roll dance band playing music of the 1960s and ‘70s.

Concerts will continue every Thursday through August at a variety of downtown and waterfront locations, weather permitting. Concerts are free, with donations accepted for the community series. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, or blankets for the park locations, and a picnic, if desired; but please leave the pets at home.

The July and August dates, subject to change, are: July 5, ukester Frets Halligan and the Willy Kelly Band at Belfast Commons; July 12, Travis Lloyd and Shirt Tail Kin at Steamboat Landing; July 19, Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra on High Street; July 26, Samuel (Lundh) and Noah (Fishman) at Steamboat Landing; Aug. 2, The Worksongers (Bennett Konesni, Edith Gawler and friends) at Steamboat Landing; Aug. 9, TBA at Belfast Commons; Aug. 16, Mostly Brothers at Steamboat Landing; Aug. 23, The Right Track Band on Beaver Street; and Aug. 30, Leaky Boot Jug Band at Steamboat Landing.
