Benefit art, wine events back at Good Kettle

May 08, 2014

Stockton Springs — The Good Kettle on Route 1 hosts a wine tasting every third Thursday of the month  at 5 p.m. to support local nonprofit organizations. The first tasting of the year is set for May 15 and will benefit the Penobscot Marine Museum.

Featured artist for the evening is Asha Fenn, a poet, artist, potter and sculptor whose studio and showroom also are on Route 1.

Wicked Wines of Bangor will provide a selection of both red and white wines for the tasting, and there will be a 10 percent discount on cases (12 bottles). For more information, call 567-2035. The Good Kettle is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
