Greetings all.

I hope everyone is well and on their way to being vaccinated. A few reminders: I still need your news in order to submit a column each week. The information needs to be given a week in advance as the column appears the following Thursday. To that end, several events will have already occurred by the time you read this.

April 24th was a clean-up day at the Community Park. The new Rec Department has been working hard to bring the park back to life. Many thanks to Jason Stutheit of DP Porter Inc. for the generous donation of his equipment, and to Harold Shute and Dave Sheldon for the number of hours spent on this project.

In addition, T-Ball sign-up is on April 27. Please call 722-3254 or visit the Town Office for more information or to sign up.

The next meeting of the Rec Department will be held May 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office.

The new Brooks Garden Club met April 19. There is a gift of a large number of lilies from Bill Warman that will be planted at various locations in town. If you would be interested in participating in this and other projects, feel free to contact me.

And finally, the Thrift Store will be opening on May 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hooray!

Until next time ... peace.
