Marsh River Theater

Up next at the MRT is "James Joyce's, The Dead, The Musical". This show was on Broadway in 2000 and is an adaptation of the Joyce short story in the book "The Dubliners". The story of the annual Christmas party at the Sisters Morkan's house seems like just a tale of a family party, but the story is riddled with underlying themes of Joyce's opinion of 1904 Ireland. The show is filled with dance and song and is just under 2 hours. The play with music stars, Frank Champa, Sue Hall, Nancy Quimby, Elena Donovan, Mike Switzer, Melissa McDonald, Theo Vanderventer, Larry Wyman, Randy Nichols, Lottie Eastham, Cathy Butler, Julia Vines, Molly Donovan and Chase Weaver.
