Greetings! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend despite the weather, and that school has gotten off to a great start.

Ralph's Cafe is looking for part-time waitstaff and dishwashers. If you are interested, please stop in (or call) and talk to Mike, 722-3236.

Quite a few things are going on at the Marsh River Theater. I hope you got the chance to see "The Revolutionists." It was a wonderful show. The Lowdown, a folksy band from Camden, will be performing at the theater on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 p.m. Please call the box office for more information and ticket pricing: 722-4110.

We are still looking for talent. "Marsh River's Got Talent" will be on Saturday, Sept. 28. Please contact Mike Switzer or me if you would like to see your name in lights!

Rehearsals for "Gypsy" are in full swing. I guarantee you'll never see anything like it! The show opens in October, and more information will be forthcoming.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Basket Bingo that was to be held Sept. 15 at the Varney Community Building has been cancelled. Disappointing for sure, but the Ladies Fellowship will be holding their fair in November and will keep us posted.
