Chamber ensemble offers library concert March 1

Belfast — The public is cordially invited to a concert of classical music performed by The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble on Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m. at the Belfast Free Library, 106 High St.

Solos, duos and ensemble works for violin, cello, piano, saxophone, flute and bassoon will be presented, including works by Haydn, Brahms, Kodaly, Gershwin and Kalliwoda. Admission is by donation. Other concerts on the 2020 HCCE tour include venues in Orono, Dover-Foxcroft, Sangerville and Greenville.

The mission of The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble is to promote live classical music in the communities of Maine. The ensemble of professional musicians has been performing for eight years in local communities to the enthusiastic acclaim of audiences.
