Established in 1979, the Children’s House Montessori School provides child-centered education in midcoast Maine for children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years. Montessori education promotes the development of the whole child, facilitates the natural growth of self-discipline, and cultivates each child's inherent joy in learning. The Garden Gala and Auction is the school’s largest annual fundraiser and provides important funds for scholarships, arts and outdoor programs.
