Children's House Montessori School Gala and Auction to be held April 7th

The Children’s House Montessori School in Camden is excited to announce the Greatest School on Earth Gala and Auction, presented by 16 Bay View Hotel.  The Gala and Auction will be held Saturday, April 7th at 16 Bay View Hotel in Camden from 5 - 9 p.m.

 

Join us under the big top, with carnival games as well as silent and live auctions. Prepare to be amazed with magic tricks, balancing acts, and juggling courtesy of the talented Andrew Silver! Enjoy butlered Hors d'oeuvres, wine, specialty cocktails and a three course dinner catered by Chef Andrea Barbour of 16 Bay View Hotel. A former sous chef at both Long Grain and Francine Bistro in Camden, Chef Andrea will be treating to guests to a special meal and circus treats.

 

Auctioneer Ruth Lind from Moxie Benefit Auctions will be leading the live auction. This year’s items up for bid include a ride in a Camden Fire Department Engine at a parade, a 7 night vacation in Florida, fine art by Colin Page, Courtney Brecht, Meghan Brady and Gideon Bok, an overnight for 4 on Gay Island on Muscongus Bay, an after hours shopping experience for 6 at fourTWELVE in Rockland, sailing excursions in Penobscot Bay, student creations and many local dining, lodging and shopping experiences.

Established in 1979, the mission of Children's House Montessori School is to provide an educational culture that respects the child's innate desire to learn.
