Climb Katahdin, the tallest peak in Maine, on this 3-day/2-night trip in Baxter State Park. Rewarding hiking, spectacular views, and the comfort of a bunkhouse at night make this a trip a delight to every lover of outdoor adventure. We’ll start with a moderate hike up to the Chimney Pond Campground, where we’ll stay in a bunkhouse both nights. Surrounded by awe-inspiring, 2,000-foot granite cliffs, glacially-formed Chimney Pond is truly spectacular. On day two, we’ll day-hike to the summit of Katahdin (5,267 feet) via Cathedral Trail and Saddle Trail — the most spectacular mountain trail in the East and one of Maine’s most picturesque spots. This trip is strenuous, and participants should be in good physical condition.

Women's Only Hike: October 11th -13th, 2018 (Click here FMI)
