Co-op Café showcases Bryant

"Dragonfly and Mosquito" is part of Karola Bryant's July show at the Belfast Co-op.

Belfast — On Friday, July 6 4 from 7 to 9 p.m., the Belfast Co-op Café will host the opening of "New Works by Karola Bryant"; and a free monthly wine tasting of highlighted seasonal wines, gourmet cheese and crackers.

Karola Bryant is a Venezuelan-born American printmaker, painter, fabric designer and set designer who will lead a Waterfall Arts in tie-dye, batik and origami workshop for all ages Saturday morning, July 21. For more information on her work, visit

Paul Chartrand of Paul Chartrand Imports and Co-op wine manager Ron Poirier will be available to answer questions. Featured wines will be 10 percent off during the tasting; participants must be 21 years of age or older.
