Belfast — Come Boating! will hold its annual "All Things Nautical" yard sale Saturday, May 25, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Belfast Public Landing Come Boating! Boat Shed, as part of the organization's season launch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations are needed for the yard sale, proceeds of which will benefit Come Boating!, "Belfast's Community Boating Organization."

The public is invited to join Come Boating! for an open house to celebrate the start of boating season. Come down to Belfast Harbor to learn about the group's community rowing program and try rowing a Cornish Pilot Gig, a 32-foot boat with a skipper and six rowers.

No experience is necessary, just a desire to get out on the water and have fun. Meet at the Boat Shed on the waterfront. Refreshments will be served.

Donate your stuff

Organizers are urging area mariners to donate their stuff for the yard sale — nautical equipment, mooring gear, boating accessories, life jackets, paddles, oars, foul weather gear, boots, nautical books, crafts, collectibles, art, charts, and small boats, for example — in clean, workable “sailable” condition.

To arrange for pick-up or drop-off, call Carol at 322-3090 by Friday, May 24.

Rain date for the sale is Sunday, May 26. For more information, visit comeboating.org.
