Community health forums invite public participation

The Knox County Community Health Coalition, Maine CDC, Midcoast Public Health Council, Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital will hold several forums to share and discuss health data for Knox and Waldo counties.

The purpose of these forums is to present key findings from the Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment, learn from community members about what is important to them and begin to identify community health priorities.

Forums will be held at the following times and places:

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Unity Barn Raisers Community Center, 32 School St., Unity

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Stockton Springs Town Office, 217 Main St.

Monday, Oct. 15, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

St. George Town Office, 3 School St.

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 5 to 7 p.m.

Rockland City Hall Council Chambers, 270 Pleasant St.

Thursday, Nov. 1, UMaine Hutchinson Center, 5 to 7 p.m.
