COVID-19 case reported at Troy Elementary

Apr 07, 2021

Thorndike — A person associated with Troy Elementary School has recently tested positive for COVID-19.

In an April 5 letter to staff, students and families, Regional School Unit 3 Superintendent Charles Brown said that because of the timing, there were no close contacts in this case.

Brown said families should continue to monitor themselves and their students for signs and symptoms and call a health care provider if symptoms start.

Questions for the school can be directed to the RSU 3 health office by calling 568-4606. For general COVID-19 questions, dial 211 or 866-811-5695. People can also text their ZIP code to 898-211 or email info@211maine.org.

Call a health care provider for questions about symptoms. More information can be found at maine.gov/dhhs/coronavirus or cdc.gov/coronavirus.
