Come Dance to a Great Midcoast Band, The Right Track, at the Rockport Opera House on March 17!

A benefit for Ashwood Waldorf School.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; Katie Tranzillo gives a dance lesson at 7:00 p.m. (no extra charge); and the music begins at 7:30 p.m. The Right Track is a high-energy, 11-piece R&B/Funk/Soul band with a full horn section, and they specialize in dance music for all ages. Purchase tickets at Ashwood Waldorf School * Hope General Store * Belfast Dance Studio * Zoot Coffee,  or online.  $25/advance, $30/door.

The dance kicks off Ashwood Waldorf School’s second annual Serve-A-Thon. Our entire school will be serving nonprofits and organizations in the midcoast April 27 and 28. Over the years so many have helped us; this is our way to give back to the community while raising much-needed funds for our beloved school. Mark your calendar and join us at these events:

March 27 – Flatbread Pizza Benefit Night 4-9 p.m.

Grab your friends and bring your appetite! This is a night for delicious pizza and a good cause. A portion of pizza-sale proceeds will benefit Serve-A-Thon. We’ll also be selling raffle tickets: two lucky people will each win $250 in gift certificates to fabulous local restaurants.

April 28 – Serve-A-Thon 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sponsor Ashwood students, family, or alumni as we serve nonprofits in the midcoast.

More about the Serve-A-Thon

How does it work?
• Ashwood Waldorf School partners with community non-profits to offer two days of service (or, Serve-A-Thon). All of our students, as well as faculty, administrators, and family volunteers, will participate in community service projects. If you would like to volunteer on April 29, please contact Sarah via email, or sign up here.

• Ashwood families solicit sponsors for their service. To donate, please click here.

• Funds raised through Serve-A-Thon sponsorships support tuition assistance, faculty salaries, and classroom materials at Ashwood Waldorf School.
