Augusta-based Yellow Brick Road brings its full-out Elton John tribute show back to Belfast.

Belfast — Having been a hit in the spring, United Farmers Market is repeating its dinner-and-a-show night with Elton John tribute band Yellow Brick Road Saturday, July 21. Doors will open 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m.

Endorsed by the Elton John Fan Club and rated in the Top 10 of tribute bands, Yellow Brick Road has played all over the United States and internationally. The must-see outfit is led by Gerald Brann, who has a degree in jazz and piano from the University of Maine and 36 years’ experience as an entertainer.

Joining Brann are lead guitar player Mike Tobias and guitarist Doug Stackhouse, bassist Mark Kavanaugh and drummer Kevin Ostrowski. They will be knocking out all the favorite Elton John songs and, yes, there will be costume changes and theatrical lighting.

The full sit-down dinner will showcase the United Farmers Market vendors. Jamaican Vybz will serve jerk chicken, curry goat, vegetarian stew and rice and beans. Dig Deep Farm will serve salad and sautéed vegetables, and Let them Eat Cake will offer assorted desserts. There will be a cash bar.

Price is $50 per person; space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. For tickets, call 218-7005 or visit belfastmarket.com.

The United Famers Market is at 18 Spring St., two blocks from downtown adjacent to Belfast Commons, where the Maine Celtic Celebration fireworks are set for a little after 9 p.m.
