Winterport — A Winterport man suffered unspecified injuries Aug. 3 after he flipped his vehicle while driving on North Main Street in Winterport.

Tyler White, 24, was driving south on North Main Street in a 2008 Chevrolet SUV when his vehicle went off the road to the right, according to a crash report filed by Cpl. Darrin Moody of Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle traveled sideways onto the shoulder of the road and hit the edge of the pavement, causing the SUV to flip onto the passenger side and slide down the road. The vehicle continued to slide until it flipped a second time before coming to rest on its roof in the middle of the travel lane.

White complained of pain at the scene. It is not clear in the crash report the extent of any injuries he suffered. His vehicle was towed from the scene because of disabling damage.
