Egan, Kallet at Lincolnville library

Lincolnville — The Lincolnville Community Library’s Fall Presentation & Concert series will begin Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. sharp at the library, 208 Main St./routes 173/52 in Lincolnville Center.

Maureen Egan will be guest speaker. Rockport-based Egan is an artist, writer and the author of “The Light From Here: A Breast Cancer Story,” which chronicles her passage through relationship, illness, the making of art and the process of healing. For the library presentation, she will share her story, using the backdrop of her colorful paintings to enhance the experience. For more information about Egan and her art, visit Eganart.com.

The musical portion of the evening will feature Cindy Kallet, a songwriter, singer and guitarist who has taught and performed extensively throughout North America. For the Lincolnville Community Library performance, Kallet will share some of her original songs, as well as other current favorites including several from her years of living in the Midcoast.
