ROCKLAND - Mid-Coast School of Technology Adult Education is accepting applications for a January 2018 CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) course. Consider stepping into the healthcare field now, where there is a critical shortage of CNAs.  Students accepted into this MCST course may also apply to Pen Bay Medical Center’s Apprenticeship “Earn While You Learn” program.  Students accepted to the Pen Bay program will be sponsored, paid to attend CNA class, and will commit to working at Pen Bay long term care facilities for 18 months after graduation. Prospec-tive students interested in this sponsorship opportunity must apply to MCST no later than December 12th.

The course begins January 23rd and follows a Tuesday through Thursday daytime schedule for 9 weeks.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, and with a clean criminal background.  Call 596-7752 opt.3 for an application packet today.  Enrollment is limited.
