Stockton Springs — The morning of Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, Erwin A. "Bub" Damon Jr., 63, lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 4, 1956. After graduating from high school, Bub worked at the Bucksport Paper Mill for 42 years, retiring when it closed.

Bub and his wife, Coleen, then opened up Coleen's Place in Prospect, where Bub could always be found behind the counter taking care of customers or visiting with family and friends. Bub adored his twin granddaughters, Emma and Lauren Damon, sister Laurel Small and brother in law Robert Small, sister Diane and brother in law Justin Knowlton. Bub enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best friend, Tony Tripp. He loved telling hunting and fishing stories to his friends and family, whether true or not. We love you to the moon and back.

Bub was predeceased by his parents, Laura K. Harriman and Erwin A. Damon Sr.

Bub leaves behind his wife, the love of his life, Coleen Damon, two sons, Rodney Damon and Joseph Damon, twin granddaughters, Lauren and Emma Damon; sister Laurel Small and brother-in-law Robert Small, sister Diane and brother-in-law Justin Knowlton, brother Kirt Damon and wife Sarah Damon, sister-in-law Regina and brother-in-law Ed Perry, sister-in-law Brandy and brother-in-law Devon, and brother-in-law Ricky Bridges.
