Everyday Pottery open for Maine Craft Weekend

Oct 11, 2018

Belmont — Mary Trotochaud of Everyday Pottery Studio, 103 Northport Road, off Route 52 via Ryan Road, will open her studio for the annual Maine Craft Weekend. The public is invited to stop in Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Trotochaud makes functional stoneware pottery in colors that reflect the changing seasons with autumn rust and yellows, lingering greens and cobalt sky blues. During the open studio, she will discuss the techniques of hand-thrown pottery.

There will be cider and cookies, and the clay pizza oven will be lit (weather permitting). For more information on Everyday Pottery, visit marytrotochaud.com.

Maine Craft Weekend, a statewide tour of Maine craft studios, breweries, businesses and events, is an opportunity for the public to explore the life and work of craft artists and craft brewers in Maine. For more information about participants and events, visit mainecraftweekend.org.
