Fran Riley and Roland Littlefield, Owners of United Realty in Belfast, are delighted to announce the sale of 29 Belmont Avenue, Route 3 in Belfast.  The Seller, Kevin Cross, is a Belfast Native who now lives and operates business ventures in Southern Maine.

Located across from Hammond Lumber, this Route 3 Commercial building lot has been vacant for many years. Formerly the site of Nickerson’s Exxon, every local in this community can recall back when getting your tank filled up was a real pleasure.  Harlan or Kay would be greeting you with smiles and the latest news of the day.  Harlan would often be changing oil or tires in the service garage and Kay pumping your gas. We have the fondest memories of those folks and miss them.

United Realty sold the “filling and service station” many years ago to a developer who never built on the lot and eventually, we sold it to Kevin.  He has now sold it and before too long, the community will see the great new addition, soon to be built.

Attorney Lee Woodward, Jr. represented Kevin Cross and closed the transaction at his Main Street office.  Attorney Paul Gibbons represented the buyers.

We congratulate everyone.
