Singer/songwriter Resa Randolph, with Miner's Creek Bluegrass Band, leads the Wednesday picking party July 31.

Join Searsport Shores Campground and the Makers Guild of Maine Wednesday nights for a guided jam session from 5-7. Ando Anderson and friends will lead musicians of all levels in an old fashioned porch picking party July 24. Host July 31 is Rockport singer/songwriter Resa Randolph, a member of Miner's Creek Bluegrass Band who plays acoustic guitar and claw hammer banjo.

Come celebrate community and creativity! Free tables are available to sell your crafts and farm produce (please set up before 5pm), art stations and hands-on rag weaving demonstrations are on-going, snacks from the campground are served. Artisit-in-Residence Chirstine Burgess will be sharing her watercolor magic that evening.

These are fun and informal, guided community jams, not performances so bring your instruments, songs to share and stories to tell. All genres of music played. Come be part of the fun each Wednesday evening from 5-7 on the campground stage, 216 W Main St, Searsport. FMI 207-548-6059

Everyone’s welcome!
