Voice of Freedom:

My grandson Tyler (UMF) was invited to attend a luncheon and the Cohen Lecture Reception.  He asked his brother Kyle (UMO) if he would like to go as his guest to the luncheon and Kyle accepted.  Kyle was given the assignment to cover the story at the Cohen Lecture Reception...  It was exciting for me to have the two boys from different colleges attend and participate at the same event.  I have pictures of Kyle with Former Maine Senator and Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen, and the Former Wyoming Senator Alan Simpson and his wife taken at Buchanan Alumni House in Orono.  I also have a picture of Kyle and Tyler that was taken before the Cohen Lecture.

Went up to Bangor for an open MRI and the results were not very good.  So today I will give thanks for the health issues I have because there are others that are worse off then me.

There are many of our Freedom residents that are under the weather, so I would like to ask that you keep Freedom residents that are ailing, in your thoughts and prayers.

I fear that since Dakota hasn’t been found, he may be found deceased in the woods by the hunters.  If that is the case, then the family and friends and have closure and stop worrying about where he is and how he is.  I haven’t heard anything more regarding the dog that was missing from Smithton Road.  If anyone has information, please let me know.

If you want to meet family, friends and neighbors, go up to the Ridgetop Restaurant and you will be sure to meet someone you know.  The food is great and the waitresses are the best.
