Dirigo Grange Pie Sale for Thanksgiving:

The Dirigo Grange #98 is having a Baked Pie Sale on Saturday, November 18 at the Grange Hall located on Rt.137 in Freedom. They are now taking orders for Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan and Chocolate Cream Pies! You can call Roberta at 382-3166 and leave a message placing your order in advance or contact Lorraine Overlock and you will be able to pick up your pies between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon. The cost of the pies are between $10.00 and $12.00.

Mt. View Christmas Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Freedom Community Historical Society:
On Saturday December 9, there will be a Tree Lighting ceremony at Keen Hall located on Rt.137 in Freedom starting at 5:30 p.m. After that, a Pot Luck Supper will be held at the Dirigo Grange Hall (across from the Freedom General Store) at 6:00 p.m. All donations of food etc. will be appreciated. From 7:00-9:00 p.m. there will be a Contra Dance. Admission, FREE!
Everyone is welcome to join us! Mark your calendar.

Selectmen’s Meeting:

Selectmen’s meeting will be held at the Town Office starting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday November 20.  The meetings are open to the public.

Every Tuesday the S & B Girls will be meeting at the Town Office starting at 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. We do all kinds of crocheting, knitting, stitching and or crafts.  Anyone can come on down and join us, learn how to do what is of interest to you and join in the fun.  Every week books are available for your taking to choose from for patterns and instructions of anything you may want to do.  The books are donated and they are yours for the taking. (Free).  Looking forward to seeing some new faces so won’t you join us in the fun and two hours of relaxation,
