Voice of Freedom:

Wow!  Nothing new as far as I know happening in Freedom.  We did lose two former residents of Freedom namely, Ruth Drew and Barbara Ellis.  Two very lovely ladies.  My deepest sympathy to the Drew and Ellis families.  I can’t remember the last time there wasn’t much to report to my readers.  School is back in session, the visitors from out-of- state have returned back home to their states which enable us to have less traffic on our roads.  Construction has begun on Rt. 137 in Freedom and will also include two state roads in the village.  Our days are getting shorter, and fall is slowly approaching.  Soon thereafter, winter will be upon us.  I have all my wood stacked and ready to burn.  Thanks to my grandson Tyler.    My 6 month old puppy keeps me on my toes and is certainly a handful.  Very active and happy!  Been meeting a lot of friends and neighbors up at the Ridge Top Diner.  It reminds me of days gone be when I was a teenager hanging out in the candy store.  Today Ridge Top is my candy store!  And the food is great too!

Until next week, stay well, stay safe, be kind to your neighbors and God Bless!
