Northport — A Northport woman ended her Halloween night at Waldo County Jail after she allegedly used a golf club to smash the windows out of her husband's excavator and damage his pickup truck.

Police arrested Daniella Macleod, 40, of Northport on a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening following a series of incidents that occurred at 8:26 p.m.

Waldo County Chief Deputy Jeff Trafton said the trouble started when Macleod and her husband had a disagreement, and shortly after police received a report of a disturbance at the couple's Atlantic Highway residence.

"She and her husband got into an argument. She got upset, grabbed a golf club and took out the windows of his excavator," said Trafton.

Trafton said Macleod also did some minor damage to her husband's pickup truck with the golf club before police arrived and placed her under arrest.

Trafton said Macleod was detained without incident and transported to the Waldo County Jail. She is scheduled to appear at Fifth District Court in Belfast Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Has anyone else noticed the tendancy of those in mugshots to be smirking?
