Golf tournament raises $30,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Camden — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine’s 2018 Golf Fore Kids’ Sake tournament raised $30,000 to benefit school- and community-based mentoring services for children in Knox, Lincoln and Waldo counties. Twenty-one teams competed in the annual golf tournament, held May 25 at Samoset Golf Club in Rockport.

Winning teams included the following:

1st Place Gross: Chad Otis, Alan Blood, Steve Sanford and Rob Herron (Rollie's Bar & Grill)

2nd Place Gross: Charlie Page, Jim Blanchette, Chris Seavey and Kathleen Labree (Maritime Energy)

3rd Place Gross: Jeff Charland, Andrew Daily, Brian Wickenden and Ian Sady (Bar Harbor Bank & Trust)

1st Place Net: Joe Dorazio, Zach Pettingill, Mark Pettingill and Skylarr Pettingill (Aetna Insurance)

2nd Place Net: Todd Beacham, Mark Brooks, Steve Brooks and Keenan Flanagan (Bank of America)

3rd Place Net: Andrew Lowe, Jason Peasley, Wes Butler and Nate Tolman (Apartments On Elm)

Longest Drive (Men's): Greg Jones (Machias Savings Bank)

Longest Drive (Women’s): Brynne Whitney (Bangor Savings Bank)

Closest To Pin (Men’s): Dan Wyman (Allen Financial)

Closest To Pin (Women's): Kathleen Labree (Maritime Energy)

Putting Contest: Chad Otis (Rollie's Bar & Grill)

Chipping Contest: Andrew Daily (Bar Harbor Bank & Trust)
