Growing Compassion and Calm: Mindfulness for Young and Old

Community Happenings
Apr 27, 2018
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Freedom Makers Studio, 25 Main St., Freedom, with Gabriel Baldwin. Let's get playful and serious! Gabriel's got mindfulness games to play! Kids, bring your games and ideas — the adults can learn from you! Gabriel will also facilitate mindfulness exercises that will accommodate and engage both young and old. Learning mindfulness can bring families closer and give the whole family the same tool kit to work with strong emotions. All are welcome: kids of any age, adults, elders, etc. Bring the whole family! Adults without kids are definitely welcome, too.

$5/per youth 4-19; $10/pp over 20; free for children 0-3.

Gabriel Baldwin (son of Peter Baldwin of Baldwin Apple Ladders, and Elizabeth Garber, acupuncturist and writer) has taught mindfulness to over 3,100 youth and hundreds of educators and parents at public schools, after-school programs, and camps in Massachusetts, including over 25 mindfulness retreat programs for teens with Insight Meditation Society and Inward Bound Mindfulness Education. He has been practicing mindfulness since 2002. To register, call 322-6553 or email
