Haley Hall Joins Pope Memorial Humane Society Board of Directors

The Pope Memorial Humane Society is pleased to announce that Haley Hall has been elected to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Hall is a local attorney practicing with the firm Camden Law LLP., dedicating most of her days to helping her clients and neighbors defend their rights, achieve their dreams, and advocate for their interests.  One of the most fulfilling aspects of her career is her Guardian ad litem work; as a representative for the children affected by difficult family changes, Haley has an opportunity to advocate for the rights of the voiceless.

When she’s not working, Haley and her partner, Matt, can often be found roaming their rambling, farm-like property accompanied by countless chickens, rescue dogs, menagerie of shelter cats, overgrown vegetables, and soon to be a buzzing hive of bees.  She is incredibly passionate about her animals (so be forewarned if you get her started talking about chickens). Since moving to the mid-coast, Haley has also been actively involved with the Pope Memorial Humane Society, where most of her four-legged family members have hailed from and is also an organization she holds near and dear to her heart. She is extremely excited to join the shelter’s Board of Directors, where she hopes to continue furthering the shelter’s mission and dedication to protecting and saving animals.

“Haley’s love of animals, professional background and passion for our organization makes this a perfect fit.” said Tracy Sala, PMHS, Executive Director. “We are excited to have her enthusiasm, insight and compassion for animals on our Board.”

Founded in 1989, Pope Memorial Humane Society is celebrating its 30th year of helping homeless animals providing care, protection, and loving homes for abandoned and displaced companion animals in the mid-coast area.  PMHS operates an animal shelter located at 25 Buttermilk Lane in Thomaston that is open between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays).  PMHS provides animal support services to the following communities: Rockland, Thomaston, Warren, Owls Head, St. George, Port Clyde, Martinsville & Tenants Harbor; So. Thomaston, Spruce Head, Union, Cushing, Matinicus, North Haven, Vinalhaven, Stockton Springs, and Morrill. To learn more visit www.popehumane.org
