Then-Rep. Erin Herbig visits Bay Wrap in Belfast during her 2018 business tour.

Brooks — Sen. Erin Herbig, D-Belfast, will hold public office hours 10:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Marsh River Cooperative in Brooks. The event marks the beginning of a series of office hours and visits to businesses across Waldo County.

“One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet people and visit businesses throughout Waldo County,” Herbig said. “I’m always inspired by the incredible work of entrepreneurs, local officials and residents who strengthen our communities every single day.”

Public office hours provide local residents a chance to meet with Herbig, ask questions and get help with legislative or state government matters. She also will discuss her work in the Legislature and provide updates on her committee and commission assignments. All are welcome to attend and ask questions.

This fall, Herbig is extending the Waldo County Works business tour she conducted last year. To schedule a visit or for more information, contact her at 287-1515 or Erin.Herbig@legislature.maine.gov.

Herbig represents all of Waldo County in the state Senate. She chairs the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Business Committee, and also serves on the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee. During her tenure in the Maine House, she served as majority leader.
