High tea, bake sale at St. Margaret's Nov. 18

Nov 06, 2017

Belfast — Scones with clotted cream, little cucumber sandwiches, a pot of hot tea and more will be on the menu at St. Margaret’s Harvest Tea and Bake Sale Saturday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This English High Tea is a signature event of the Women of St. Margaret’s. Invite a friend, your daughter, your mother, your husband and come and relax at a table set with lovely china.

Besides the tea, there is a bake sale with tables laden with home baked goodies — bread, pies, cakes, cookies, jams, jellies — all for sale. The Jewelry Boutique features lovingly refurbished jewelry, perfect to give or keep. Also for sale will be holiday cookbooks — tried and true, gently used, and a silent auction will offer a variety of items and gift certificates.

All funds raised will benefit Broadreach Family & Community Services, H.O.M.E. in Orland, and WoSMs outreach in the community.

Al will be welcome at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church Parish House, 95 Court St., Belfast. FMI: stmargaretsbelfast.org or call 338-2412.
