Belfast — The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble will perform a concert Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at the Crosby Center, 96 Church St.

Works by Bach, Beethoven, Franck and Liszt will be featured in a program that includes solos and duets for violin, cello, saxophone and piano. The finale will include a concerto by Vivaldi for all instruments, presented along with flutes and bassoon.

The mission of the Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble is to promote live classical music in the communities of Maine. The ensemble of professional musicians has been performing for seven years in local communities, from Bangor to Milo; and Pittsfield to Greenville, to the enthusiastic acclaim of audiences.

Suggested donations are $12; $9 for senior citizens; and free for children. For more information, call 564-0043.
