Jan 11, 2019

Belfast — Maine Country and Coast Real Estate has launched a Hygiene Drive to benefit students at East Belfast Elementary School.

Many children come from homes where access to personal hygiene is a privilege, and East Belfast Elementary responds to this need by offering free personal hygiene products in a Hygiene Closet, available for students to use as needed, broker Esther Darres said in a press release.

Needed items include toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, deodorant, dish detergent, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hair brushes, combs, lip balm, bars of soap, floss, tissues, hand soap and menstrual pads.

Donations can be dropped off at Maine Country and Coast Real Estate, 9A Beaver St., Belfast, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., through Saturday, Feb. 9. Call 338-3344 for more information.
