Immigrants! What are they good for? Incarceration!

The Donald of Trumpf thought that the people, immigrants, trying to get passed the United States/Mexican boarder without visa, wanted to be treated like U.S. Citizens but apparently he was misled.

Accusing people of crimes, without a damaged party, is the hallmark of American justice for U.S. Citizens. U.S. Parents arrested in the drug war, say for cannabis possession, are criminals and they lose their children to Child Protective Services.

America incarcerates more prisoners per capita than any other country in the world.  In fact the U.S. has 25% of the prison population, 2.2 million people are currently in jail; and growing, thanks to the influx of immigrants. Most of the prisoners are related to drug war activity. It is not unusual for any of us to know someone who has had major problems because of the drug war.

So, the poor refugee people fleeing death threats from Mexico, El Salvador, the rest of Latin America or South America are to be greeted as criminals at the US border.

The War on Drugs has created this situation and the Congress is responsible for the devastation, people fleeing for their lives.  End the drug war, and the migration will subside, people will become less afraid for their lives and stay home; but alas there is too much business, money, in law enforcement and corrections for this war to end, war is good for this business.  Capitalism prevails in the Americas. Caveat emptor.
