Islesboro Central announces honors, colleges

Islesboro Central School's top students are headed for prestigious schools following graduation.

Valedictorian and Presidential Scholar finalist Emily Lau and National Merit Scholar Finn Gibson will attend Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, while Salutatorian Sanni Cohn will attend St. Andrews University in Scotland.

Adin Randlett will be attending Mid Coast School of Technology as a post-graduate in the Marine Systems Technology Program.

Collectively the ICS class of 2019 was admitted to the following institutions;

Amherst College, Barnard College, Boston College, Bowdoin College, Brown University, Bryn Mawr College, Colby College, Haverford College, Hamilton College, Lehigh University, Macalester College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Swarthmore, Vassar College, Williams College, Wesleyan University, Yale University, and University of Aberdeen, University of Bristol, University of Glasgow and University of Stirling, all in the UK.

Islesboro Central School is a public K-12 institution with 90 students located on the island of Islesboro, Maine.
