Islesboro police investigating home break-in

Islesboro — The Islesboro Police Department is asking for the public's help with an investigation into a residential break-in.

Officers received a report on Feb. 22 regarding the forcible entry of a residence on County Road. An investigation determined the residence was entered after a door was kicked in and damaged. It is believed the break-in occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 22.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to contact Senior Officer Fred Porter at 338-2040 or at 734-6787.

The department is not releasing any more information regarding the incident at this time.
