Islesboro Police Department received or responded to 38 calls for service from Sept. 18 through Oct. 1.  Listed below is a summary of the calls for this time period.

Sept. 19

Public Safety Director Fred Porter received a motor vehicle complaint on Alumni Drive; Michael Kerr, 76, of Islesboro, was issued a summons for passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing.

Sept. 20

Porter summonsed John Hanzlik, 66, of Gulf Shores, Ala., for improper passing.

Sept. 24

Porter responded to a vehicle crash on Main Road. The case is under investigation.

Sept. 25

Porter received a report of motor vehicle theft on Main Road. The case is under investigation.

Porter received a criminal trespassing complaint on Pendleton Point Road. The case is under investigation.

Sept. 26

Porter received a burglary complaint on Ruthie James Road. The case is under investigation.

Sept. 29

Officer Matthew Nadeau conducted radar details on Main Road; no citations were issued.

Sept. 30

Nadeau conducted an agency assist with Maine Marine Patrol on Warren Island and Turtle Head Road.

Oct. 1

Nadeau responded to a criminal trespass complaint on Hermits Point Road.

Porter received a report of a car/deer crash on Ferry Road. It was a non-reportable crash.
