Islesboro Public Safety blotter

May 15, 2019

For the month of April, the Islesboro Police Department received or responded to 22 calls for service, including seven 911 disconnects, two agency assists, two animal problems, two disturbance complaints, and nine other complaints. One parking ticket was issued.

Public Safety Director Fred Porter reports there were no arrests or summonses. On April 23, there was one late report of an accident on Ferry Road.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
