Italian Cooking and Conversation: Sweet and Savory Pies with Leslie Fillnow

Join Leslie Fillnow for a culinary tour through Italy that you won’t forget! This three-week fall class focuses on creating sweet and savory pies from several regions in Italy. Recipes include various types of focaccia and pizza as well as erbazzone (spinach and cheese pie) and Easter pie (a thick-crusted pie filled with Italian meats and cheeses). Make the required dough for the pies, then engage in discussions of the various regions of Italy before finishing and enjoying your creations!

NOTE: Three classes at 3.5 hours each occur on Tuesdays, 9/12 and 9/19 and Monday, 9/25 (not all are on Tuesdays as indicated below)
