It's Preview Week at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries!

Fabulous ship's figurehead in the form of Benjamin Franklin, one of over 1,500 great items to be sold at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries on November 8, 9 & 10

Join us at our Thomaston gallery this week to preview the exciting items to be sold in our three-day fall auction weekend on November 8, 9 & 10. On Friday, this exciting sale will present Native American, African and Oceanic artifacts, treasures of American popular culture, portrait miniatures, and estate jewelry; fine art and antiques on Saturday; and 20th Century decorative arts on Sunday.  Featured items include a monumental ship’s figurehead in the form of Ben Franklin; artwork by Edmund Charles Tarbell, Maurice Utrillo, William Partridge Burpee, Thomas Hart Benton, and Christiaan Beekman; a Boston Sheraton card table attributed to John & Thomas Seymour; Eldred Wheeler furniture; an exquisite Chinese Qing cinnabar vase; Louis Vuitton steamer trunk; Brother Thomas Bezanson art pottery; and early Delft.

You may take your time and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our aisles to peruse the many rare and one-of-a-kind treasures on display.  Helpful staff members are stationed throughout the gallery to assist you and answer any questions you may have.  You may also pre-register for the auction or set up telephone or absentee bids at any time during preview week.

Preview hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4 through Thursday, November 7.  Previewing will also be available on auction days, Thursday through Sunday, November 8, 9 & 10, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  We are located on US Route 1 in Thomaston, ME.
