Join us this week at our Thomaston gallery to preview the exciting items to be sold in our three-day winter auction weekend on February 28, 29 & March 1. On Friday, this exciting sale will present historic ephemera, weapons, Asian antiques and designer items, fine art and antiques on Saturday; and 20th Century decorative arts on Sunday. Featured items include: artwork by Andrew Wyeth, George Inness, Victor Vasarely, and Antonio Jacobsen; a 50” high Roman marble sculpture; two Faberge pieces; a carved eagle from NYC’s Tavern on the Green restaurant; octavo editions of Audubon’s “Birds of America” and “Quadrupeds of America”; a 19th Century terrestrial globe by Newton & Son, London; plus outstanding collections of silver, watches & jewelry, and Civil War memorabilia.
You may take your time and enjoy a leisurely stroll through our aisles to peruse the many rare and one-of-a-kind treasures on display. Helpful staff members are stationed throughout the gallery to assist you and answer any questions you may have. You may also pre-register for the auction or set up telephone or absentee bids at any time during preview week.
Preview hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24 through Thursday, February 27. Previewing will also be available on auction days, Thursday through Sunday, February 28, 29 & March 1, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. We are located on US Route 1 in Thomaston, ME.
