Jackson —

Jackson Food Pantry volunteers will bring food to people’s vehicles on the next distribution date, Monday, March 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Jackson Community Center on the corner of Village and Bog roads.

Cindy Ludden, food pantry coordinator, said patrons will be asked to line up and remain in their vehicles. Volunteers will bring food out to the cars, one by one.

In the current situation, the food pantry is tentatively considering operating twice a month, but it depends, she said, on what is available. “We’re going to take it one day at a time,” she said.

The volunteer organization serves the residents of Jackson and surrounding areas with food, personal care items and cleaning supplies when available and at no cost. The next distribution date after March 24 is April 28. For more information, call 722-3205.
