There isn’t much news to report this week. First, I would like to apologize to Connie from Monroe. I mistakenly forgot to put this information in last week about the basket beano. I sure hope it went well.

Winter storm

Another nor’easter, it sure was a mess. The high tide, along with the full moon, high winds, and the storm made the damage much worse according to the news. There were so many flights cancelled, that sure must make it very difficult for those involved, especially those folks travelling with children. I don’t know what anyone else thinks, but I am ready for winter to be over with.

I had surprise visitors this week. Darci and Morgan Curtis stopped in on their way by after going to Bangor to pick up Morgan’s glasses. Her glasses looked so cute on her. I thought it made her look like LeeAnn when she was little and wore glasses. Thank you so much for stopping to visit. I missed seeing you, Rick and Ryan.

I hope Sue and Frank had a nice trip. I was sorry to hear that Linda was unable to attend due to her broken leg. I would like to send condolences to Mike on the recent passing of your Dad.

I have been enjoying the spring training baseball games on TV. I am anxious for the regular season games to start.

Basket Beano

Before I forget, there will be basket beano held in Monroe on Sunday, March 18. The doors will open at 11 a.m. for lunch, and at 1 p.m. basket beano will start. It is always a fun time, with great food and people.

Get well

I would like to send out get well wishes to Clifford and son Bruce Thompson.
